About the Book
A Resource Born from Real Need
The Magic Phonic Blending Book was developed by DOK’s team of specialist educators in direct response to the lack of locally relevant, dyslexia-informed phonics resources in Kenya.
Standard phonics books often fail dyslexic learners because they rely on visual memorisation and rapid reading — two areas of significant challenge. The Magic Phonic Blending Book uses a multisensory, step-by-step approach that builds blending skills gradually and joyfully.
The book is suitable for use at home, in the classroom, and in intervention sessions. It comes with a guide for parents and educators explaining how to use it effectively.
