We offer education to children with learning difficulties who do not fit in regular schools and otherwise would not get the opportunity to continue with education at affordable rate in a friendly and conducive environment.
We promise to deliver confidence, positive attitude, improved self-esteem, and self-awareness.
17-20% of children labelled slow learners and those with learning challenges in lower classes do not complete school. The few who finish primary school do not continue to secondary school.
Rare Gem Talent School give opportunity to over 200 children with different learning challenges to continue with normal learning without risk of being pushed out of school. We focus to deliver excellence in education to children who experience barriers to learning and to equip them with life skills as we help them reach their full potential by deliberately searching for their special talents.
Our methodologies for teaching

– vocational training in dress making, drawing, painting, singing, beading, tapestry, hairdressing, and other technical skills to prepare the children for their future.
Workshops & Training
It has been proven that early intervention is the most effective way to help children with dyslexia and other hidden learning difficulties. If identified and given the right interventional support at early age, it reduces the emotional and psycho-social problems experienced by children with learning difficulties.
We conduct regular workshops to provide parents and caregivers with the knowledge, support, and skills to deal with dyslexia and other specific learning. We partner with professionals and other experts to facilitate the workshops.
The workshops provide effective way of providing participants with skill to identify and better manage the conditions. The participants get to learn where to find support.
The awareness workshops are conducted online and at our main center in Rare Gem Talent School in Kitengela and at various schools all over the country.
Invite us for parents’ meetings, closing days, parents’ clinic, church groups etc. We visit churches during disability awareness week.
Please submit the form on this page if you require more information or would like to register for one of our upcoming workshops.
One teacher can make all the difference in the life of a child with dyslexia. Teachers often see the signs of dyslexia first. Dyslexia is not obvious before a child goes to school.
Our Dyslexia Online Training for educators, parents and psychologists are one our core services and one that has produced extremely positive feedback.
Parents depend on teachers to understand and support all their children learning needs. Where teachers lack the awareness of learning difficulties, the affected children suffer neglect and are stigmatized. The blame game between teachers and parents psychologically affects the child.
Our training enables educators and parents gain insight and understanding of children with dyslexia and other learning difficulties and offer the necessary support.
